We want you to feel good about your piece. If you have a question about your order, or if something arrived damaged or incorrect, please contact us at hello@threadandseek.com.
Returns
We accept returns on eligible non-custom pieces within 30 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition that you received it, with its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To request a return, please contact us at hello@threadandseek.com before sending anything back. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
If your return is approved, we’ll provide instructions for where and how to send your package.
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Commissioned Pieces
Commissioned pieces are made specifically for the person, story, or words provided by the customer. Because of this, commissioned pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Once work has begun on a commissioned piece, cancellation requests may not be accepted.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at hello@threadandseek.com within 7 days of delivery.
Please include your order number and photos of the item and packaging so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. The fastest way to receive a different item is to request a return for the original item, and once the return is approved, place a new order.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Commissioned pieces or personalized/custom items
- Gift cards
- Final sale items
- Items that have been used, washed, damaged after delivery, or returned without original packaging
European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If merchandise is shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification, subject to applicable law.
As above, eligible items must be unused, unwashed, in the same condition that you received them, and in their original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Custom or clearly personalized goods may be excluded from the right of withdrawal under EU consumer rules. Commissioned pieces are made specifically for the customer and are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund was approved.
If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
